Terms of Use for Ryze: Built Different

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ryze: Built Different ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Ryze is an AI powered physique rating and fitness transformation application. The App provides physique assessments based on photographs submitted by users, personalised workout plans, progress tracking, and gamification features including experience points and rank progression.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Ryze is not a medical application.

The physique assessments, body fat estimates, and workout recommendations provided by the App are generated by artificial intelligence and are for informational and motivational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Before beginning any new exercise programme, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional, particularly if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns. Ryze is not responsible for any injury, illness, or health consequence arising from your use of the App or your participation in any workout programme provided by the App.

4. AI Assessment Accuracy

The physique scores and body composition estimates provided by Ryze are generated by an AI model and are approximations based on visual analysis of photographs. These scores are not clinically accurate measurements and should not be used for medical or diagnostic purposes. Results may vary based on photo quality, lighting, angle, and clothing.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Ryze offers subscription plans including weekly and annual options. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. No refund will be provided for the unused portion of a current subscription period.

Free tier users receive one lifetime physique scan with limited results. Full features require an active subscription.

6. User Content and Photographs

By submitting photographs to the App for physique analysis, you grant Ryze a limited, non-exclusive licence to process those images solely for the purpose of generating your physique assessment. Your photographs are transmitted securely to our AI processing service and are not stored permanently on our servers beyond what is necessary to generate your results.

You must only submit photographs of yourself. You must not submit photographs of other individuals without their explicit consent. You must not submit photographs of minors under any circumstances.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App. You agree not to use the App to harass, harm, or intimidate any person.

8. Age Restriction

The App is intended for users aged 16 and over. By using the App you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian before using the App.

9. Intellectual Property

All content within the App including but not limited to the Ryze name, logo, design, workout plans, and AI assessment system is the intellectual property of Ryze and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the App without express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ryze shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to physical injury, health consequences, loss of data, or loss of revenue.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
