1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Ryze: Built Different ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide during onboarding:

• Age
• Gender
• Fitness goal (Build Muscle, Lose Fat, Tone Up)
• Fitness level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
• Height and weight (used to calculate workout recommendations)
• Training frequency preference

Information generated through app use:

• Physique scan results including scores and body composition estimates
• Workout logs including exercises completed, sets, reps, and weights
• Progress data including streak counts and XP points
• Scan history and progress photographs stored locally on your device

Device information:

• Device identifier used to associate your data with your device
• Operating system version for technical support purposes

3. AI Body Scan Analysis

Ryze offers an optional AI body scan feature. If you choose to use this feature and give permission in the app, Ryze collects the front, side, and back body photos that you provide, along with a device identifier generated by the app.

This data is collected when you take or upload body scan photos in the app and tap the consent control before submitting the scan.

Ryze uses this data to generate your body composition analysis, physique score, muscle group assessment, strengths, weaknesses, and personalized workout plan. Your body scan photos are sent securely to Ryze’s Supabase service, which processes the request, and to Google Gemini AI, a third-party AI service, to generate the analysis. Ryze does not store your body scan photos on Ryze servers after analysis. Your scan results and progress information may be stored locally on your device to show your history and personalize your experience.

Ryze shares body scan photos, the app-generated device identifier, and the scan request only with service providers needed to provide the AI body scan feature, including Supabase and Google Gemini AI. These providers are required to protect personal data with privacy and security protections that provide the same or equal protection as described in this Privacy Policy.

If you do not give permission for AI body scan analysis, Ryze will not send your body scan photos or device identifier to the AI service for analysis.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate personalised physique assessments
• Create customised workout plans based on your goals and fitness level
• Calculate appropriate starting weights for exercises
• Track your progress and streak history
• Improve the accuracy and consistency of our AI assessment system
• Provide customer support when requested

5. Data Storage

The majority of your personal data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. This includes your workout logs, progress history, streak data, and XP points. This data remains on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the App.

Physique scan results are stored locally on your device. Your onboarding data is stored locally on your device.

6. Third Party Services

We use the following third party services to operate the App:

• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and process payments. RevenueCat may collect device identifiers and purchase history for subscription management purposes. Please review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com for full details.
• Apple App Store: Payments are processed through the Apple App Store. Apple collects payment information in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Supabase: We use Supabase to securely process physique scan requests. Images submitted for analysis are transmitted to Supabase servers solely for the purpose of generating your assessment results. Please review Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com for full details.
• Google Gemini: Physique photographs are processed by Google's Gemini AI model to generate assessment scores. Images are transmitted securely and processed in accordance with Google's API data usage policies. Please review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com for full details.

7. Data Retention

Local data stored on your device is retained until you delete the App or clear the App's data through your device settings. Data transmitted to Supabase for physique analysis processing is not retained beyond the time required to generate your assessment results.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you. You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. You have the right to withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting the App.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has submitted data through the App please contact us immediately at support@studyrot.app and we will take steps to delete the information.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction. Data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using industry standard protocols. However no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
